Driving visitors can follow the directions here:

From the North/West

- Head east on I-H1 E;

- Exit 18A to merge onto HI-92/N Nimitz Hwy toward WAIKIKI;

- Continue to follow HI-92, which becomes Ala Moana Boulevard.

From the South/East

- Head west on I-H1 W;

- Take exit 25B to merge onto Kapiolani Boulevard, 1.8 miles/2.9 kilometers;

- Turn left at Atkinson Drive, 0.3 miles/0.5 kilometers;

- Turn left at Ala Moana Boulevard.

After getting there, parking won't bother you at all. You are provided with free parking on four levels of the Shopping Center.

Public transportation is conveniently available to and from the Ala Moana Shopping Center.

(1) Ala Moana Center is a major public transportation hub for TheBus, Honolulu's mass transit system.

- From Waikiki: Take TheBus E8, 19, 20, 23, 24 or 42

- From the North Shore: Take TheBus 52 Honolulu-Ala Moana or 55 Honolulu- Ala Moana

- From Honolulu International Airport: Take TheBus 19 or 20

(2) Waikiki Trolley is a fun and affordable way to experience Waikiki and Honolulu. Ala Moana Shopping Center is a key stop on its pink line from Waikiki. Also it takes you to other great shopping destinations like DFS Galleria, Royal Hawaiian Center, Waikiki Beach Walk and Hilton Hawaiian Village.

The Duty Free Galleria Stop is at 330 Royal Hawaiian Avenue. The first shift is 9:30am and the last is 9:12 pm from Monday to Saturday. On Sunday & Holidays, the last shift will be at 7:15pm.

Ala Moana Center - Nordstrom (drop-off only):

The first shift arrives at 10:07am. The last one varies a little: For Monday - Saturday, it's 9:49pm while on Sunday and holidays it's 7:52pm.

Ala Moana Center (ocean side):

The trolley arrives at 9:46am for the first shift, and the last shift is 9:55pm for Monday-Saturday and 7:52pm for Sunday & Holidays.
